Next MRI Short Course -  Spectroscopy

A Spectroscopy Short Course will be held in July 2012. Registrations will open in April. If you wish to receive a notification when regirstrations are open, please email short_courses@cai.uq.edu.au

About the MRI Short Courses

We have developed a series of hands-on short courses designed for health professionals who wish to experience MR scanning first-hand. The courses are taught by radiographers, physicists and doctors, all of whom are lecturers in our popular formal post-graduate MRT courses, as well as by invited specialists in their field.

  • All the short courses attract CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points from both AIR (Australian Institute of Radiography) and RANZCR (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists).

  • The theory component is held at the Wesley Hospital, Chasely Street, Auchenflower. Please note that an accommodation list is available upon request, or visit http://www.ourbrisbane.com/accommodation

  • All pre-reading material will be supplied prior to commencement of the course. Comprehensive course materials will be provided on CD and in paper form.

  • A Certificate of Practical Completion will be issued on completion of the course, for completion of 9 hours of theory and 9 hours of practical training. No examinations are held.
