Postgraduate Coursework - Magnetic Resonance Technology

Magnetic Resonance Technology (Magn Reson Tech) postgraduate programs have been designed for radiographers, biomedical engineers and other health professionals working with Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment. The programs are aimed at technologists rather than practitioners. Subjects can be taken as individual non-award units for professional development, or towards one of the following qualifications:
·         Graduate Certificate in Magn Reson Tech
·         Postgraduate Diploma in Magn Reson Tech and
·         Masters of Magn Reson Tech.
Students will emerge from the Magn Reson Tech programs with skills and expertise vital for their continuing career development.
 

Research Higher Degree

Staff at the Centre currently supervise or co-supervise about 35 research students working in a diverse range of disciplines, such as Radiography, Radiology, Medicine, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and the Biological and Chemical Sciences.
 

Short Courses

We have developed a series of hands-on short courses aimed at health professionals who wish to experience MR scanning first-hand.
 

Summer Scholarship

CAI offers several scholarships for the Summer 2010-2011 in partnership with the Undergraduate Office. The scholarships are for a maximum of ten weeks. More information on the projects that could be available on the Summer Scholarship webpage.

Traineeship

CAI welcomes students enrolled at an overseas university. They have the opportunity to complete a research component as part of their course at the Centre.
